Don't Kid Yourself that kidney disease only affects a few people. Around 30,000 kidney patients are on dialysis in the UK. It's relentless and exhausting. For most, it's 4 hours 3 times a week – that's 12 hours every single week. And there's no end to it unless you get a transplant, which not everyone can have and they're not a cure.

Despite all this, kidney disease still flies under the radar and is surrounded by misconceptions.
