Prom dresses hiding in your wardrobe? Give them a chance to be loved again ❤️❤️

Wrexham Clothing Exchange and Lle Hapus Wrecsam have some lovely prom dresses waiting to be loved - we give them away for free (though donations much appreciated). Many have been donated from lovely Wrexham folk and others from the amazing Ffansi Ffrogs Ruthin.

We want everyone to have a chance to be belle of the ball!

We’d love to add some new dresses to our rails, so if you’d like to donate yours to a great cause, let us know.

We have our monthly clothes swap next week so we could accept donations then 😊👗

Disappointed to see this graffiti (?) on one of our flyers in our venue. We’ve regularly made it known that we can support people struggling - so if that’s why you think our small entrance fee is an issue, then contact us in confidence.

Our entry fee is now £3.50 - the first price rise since we started in October 2019!

Here’s why we charge an entrance fee, which incidentally is cheaper than other swaps around the country:-

1. The venue has rent and bills to pay

2. We have to be able to purchase and maintain rails, stationery, snacks for volunteers etc

3. We occasionally provide treats for swappers

4. We occasionally use sponsored posts on social media to promote our events

Etc.

We remain COMPLETELY volunteer run and we love to meet you all every month to host a welcoming community event that promotes sustainability.
