Yesterday I had the incredible opportunity to visit one of Wrexham University’s academic partner institutions (SHRM in Singapore). It was an insightful and inspirational visit in which I managed to speak to numerous different students about their experience studying with Wrexham University

The overwhelming positivity was great to see, and I left feeling proud to be part of something special ⭐️

I also emphasised the support our students are able to receive from Wrexham Students’ Union through the Advice Centre, Student Voice or Opportunities Departments, and through using Unitu.

Looking for a job to work around your studies? 💸

We’re looking for bar staff, a bar supervisor and SU receptionists!
For the bar staff and bar supervisor roles, you will be based in Glyn’s Bar & Lounge in the SU building and must be available on Wrexham AFC match days.

SU Receptionists are based in our SU Shop. Responsibilities include selling merchandise, booking Advice appointments, keeping the SU Shop clean and tidy and signposting students to the right places. 💡

Full training will be provided. 🙂

Originally introduced by former President, Amy, Freya intends to continue the series with the latest episode being on this year's full-time officers!

Freya will be joined by SU President, Maisie, as they cover topics such as the experience of being a sabbatical officer, student council and autumn's upcoming by-elections!
