Inspired by Article 31 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, schools are encouraged to allow 31 extra minutes for play in the school day. This presents a great opportunity to raise the profile of article 31 rights with schools and with children themselves as rights holders.

Due to the success of our previous sessions, The Venture is running TWO more Fun Fit and Fed sessions this Thursday and Friday 9am - 1pm 🏉

Our Fun Fit and Fed sessions are designed to: Keep children active during the school holidays
Provide healthy meals
Offer a safe, structured environment

The rugby activities many of you saw are simply one of the ways we deliver these bigger goals — using fun, engaging physical activity to:
Channel energy positively
Teach safe “rough and tumble” boundaries
Build confidence and social skills

If you are interested in your child/children attending , Please see a member of staff for more details, and a registration form. We will welcome you turning up on the day but please be advised that spaces are limited and registration is required.

Sesiwn chwarae gyntaf hanner tymor mis Mai ☀️

What a lovely first play session of the May half term ☀️

From making masks, playing in our lovely new sand, and keeping cool under the hosepipe, to chasing bubbles and creating robot suits and shops from cardboard boxes,it’s been a day full of imagination, creativity, and fun.

We also welcomed a production crew who came along to film a day of play, which made the day even more exciting 🎥

Safe to say plenty of suncream , a picnic and lots of water helped us all play and enjoy the beautiful sunshine safely ☀️
