Huge Thank You to St Elvan's for hosting us last night. The audience and panel having important conversations.
More conversations needed about Aberfan and the current coal tips.
Thank you to Janett Bickley, Darren Macey and Sue Bevan for the panel discussion and to Lewis Merthyr Band for the powerful music.

Diolch mawr i St Elvan am ein cynnal noson ddoe. Roedd y gynulleidfa a'r panel yn cael sgyrsiau pwysig. Mae angen mwy o sgyrsiau am Aberfan a'r tipiau glo presennol. Diolch i Janett Bickley, Darren Macey a Sue Bevan am y drafodaeth ar y panel ac i Band Lewis Merthyr am y gerddoriaeth bwerus.

So grateful to Tylorstown Welfare Hall for having us for rehearsals and for the anniversary showing of The Silent Volunteer.
To be able to share the stage with Pendyrus Male Choir and speak with the community and the amazing students at Porth Community School.
A big thank you to Janett Bickley, Sue Bevan , Darren Macey and Natalie Sargent from Coalfields Regeneration Trust - Wales for running the Q&A and keeping this conversation going.
Thank you to Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru | Arts Council of Wales and The National Lottery Heritage Fund for making this project possible.

Yn ddiolchgar iawn i Neuadd Lles Tylorstown am ein croesawu ar gyfer ymarferion ac arddangosfa pen-blwydd The Silent Volunteer. I allu rhannu'r llwyfan gyda Chôr Meibion Pendyrus a siarad gyda'r gymuned a myfyrwyr anhygoel Ysgol Gymunedol Porth. Diolch mawr i Janett Bickley, Sue Bevan, Darren Macey a Natalie Sargent o Ymddiriedolaeth Adfywio Maes glo - Cymru am gynnal y Holi ac Ateb a chadw'r sgwrs hon yn mynd. Over the last 4 years we've had the privilege to meet suvivor's, volunteers, the next generation from Aberfan.

All of their stories are so inspiring.

The strength through such awful tragedy and through a fight they should never of had to fight will inspire me every single day.

Though this process we have learnt that there story should never stop being spoken about and the we need to learn to use our voice more (no matter how they make us feel for speaking).

We would like for someone to have been prosecuted for what they did. That people who have power to make decisions should be held to account if those decisions lead to such awful situations.

Thank you Janett Bickley for your strength.
