Really disappointing to see at Synwell this morning.

Sadly, the picnic benches have been moved across the field and one has been deliberately damaged – particularly upsetting as this is one of the dedicated benches. The broken seat had been ripped off and thrown across the field.

The amount of litter left behind is also probably the worst we have seen, following a group being in the park late into the night.

A huge amount of time and effort goes into looking after Synwell playing field and providing a space that everyone in our community can enjoy. Damage like this costs money to repair, which is raised by the volunteers – money that could otherwise be spent improving the field.

This incident has been reported to the police.

It is missing from one of our new pieces of equipment at Synwell.
If anyone knows it location or has this please return to its place of origin!

The World Jungle are coming to Synwell Playing Field on 24th July! Come along for all the amazing activities between 2pm-4:30pm!

Just a reminder that our AGM is still going ahead on 15th July at 8.00pm.
We know it's the World Cup Semi-Final, and appreciate that some people who were hoping to come along and find out more about joining the Committee may be watching the match.

Synwell Playing Field Association (SPFA) will be holding their AGM on the 15th July at 8pm at Synwell Sports & Social Club if you are interested in joining the Committee, please do come along.
Commitment to this committee is a meeting the 3rd Weds of every month in the evening and help with small tasks associated with the Playing field.
