Storm Book Club is going from strength to strength........ next meeting 17 July and then we will be sorting dates and books for the Autumn.

"encouraging people to find their inner creativity, gifts and talents .... offering opportunities to use them to serve the community and make the world a better place" Summer Term 2023 with Storm

Summer Term going well so far....... we have had some great events and are excited for what is still to come.........

All the Clubs finished well....... Stormie Tots Teddy Bear's picnic was well attende

d and we were thrilled to have so many come to enjoy the fun...... we will be back in September with Wednesday pop in play sessions and Friday songs and stories. It is so lovely when Tots move on and then join in with our Monday after school Craft Club, our Wednesday after school performance arts group or our Holiday Clubs....... we LOVE to keep in touch!! Make n Munch have done their usual magic with our Summer window "Under the Sea" has drawn a lot of attention and we are also about to do a display of large knitted and crocheted bug on the fencing down at The Sid........and of course we are already planning and preparing for Christmas!! We are so excited that our Sunday Band is growing with two new members joining us this term....... such a blessing. We have had some great Sundays together with some special ones still to come....... we finish July with our Street Performance and Sea Baptism. August will have our traditional Big Summer Blow Out party, Pilgrimage to the Isle of Wight and we finish with our Barn Dance ....... live band hot food and great fun!! Pilgrimage trial run complete....... there may still be a couple of spaces on the Storm minibus for Sunday 9 August. We plan to leave the car park The Sidney Walter Centre to drive to Alfriston to start the Cuckmere Pilgrim Path. Wear sensible shoes and bring snacks and drinks. It is a good 11 mile round trip with some wonderful sights to see on the way round!!

Team were amazing yesterday as always summer fete in Steyne Gardens ....... thanks so much to the MakenMunchers who came down to help, thanks to the amazing Storm Clubbers, tms'ers and Mulberries who came and brought their supporters with them, thanks to everyone who made things, helped with set up and set down....... WE DID IT!!!! Next stop will be the Pilgrimage Sunday 9 August........ more details on Facebook and web calendar, please book your seats if you are planning to come!!
