Started to decorate the inside of the church this morning. I was joined by Jan and Janet from the Worthen Sewing Group whose members are responsible for the beautiful work on the pulpit and font. Thank you, ladies, so much for all your support with the project.

We've decided to highlight the position of the two war graves located within the All Saints churchyard. Simply follow the 'Two Poppy Pathway' and you will find them in the furthest corner.

The Poppy Cascade is now up! Huge thank you to John Renson, Rob Wass and David Moss for all their work this morning. David is there - he's at the top of the bell tower!

Thanks also to everybody who contributed poppies.

We'd love it if as many people as possible took part in the event, especially if you do live along the B4386. The aim is for those driving through the villages to see a swath of red as they pass by.

If you'd like to take part , we're asking that all decorations are in place by November 1st and remain until November 12th (the day after Remembrance Day)and are swiftly removed after that date.

It would be great to get an indication of who is taking part, so just add your names and where you're decorating to this post. At present we have no group/individuals taking responsibility for decorating the bank/hedge outside the village hall which is obviously a key part of the village, so it would be fantastic if someone could take that area on.

There are loads of photographs of similar events that have taken place in other areas on Facebook you're in need of inspiration, grab a cuppa and have a scroll through!

Sorry it's been a bit quiet on the page of late. Things have been carrying on slowly in the background, and are now just beginning to pick up pace again. So here's just a couple of pics to show you what's been going on.
