Project Trust South Africa - Lauren Devine This page is just to let you all know that I'm fundraising to go on a gap year to South Africa! I CANNOT WAIT! All I need to do now is raise the money to go..

I'll be out there as a volunteer with an organisation called Project Trust. I need to raise £5,100 to fund my year overseas, soooo I'm relying on all you lovely people to help me :)

After spending a week on the isle of Coll (a Hebridean island off the coast of Scotland) on a selection course in October 2011, I’ve been s

elected to spend my year volunteering in South Africa. I recently received my final placement letter from Project Trust, confirming that I'll be heading to SA as an Outward Bound volunteer (outdoor sports education and development). I'll be based at Willow Point in Sedgefield, South Africa, and I'll spend my year carrying out a full time job as an instructor's assistant, travelling between Outward Bound bases in Potchefstroom, Harrismith, Grabouw and La Palala. Hi guysssss, I got my final placement letter from Project Trust and it looks like I'm definitely going to South Africa as an Outward Bound volunteer!
I could not be happier with this, it's the project I wanted from the start and I feel SO lucky to have been given an Outward Bound placement. Just thought I'd let you all know in case I haven't told you a million times already :)

Would like to say a massive thank you to Abbie at Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. for all her help in securing 100 Wolves shirts from the club's Community Trust Charity scheme to be used on my project in South Africa! Abbie was very helpful, and I really appreciate the club's generous donation :)
