Off it goes.

Thank you once more for such a strong community effort to get this addressed.

It took to long and thereโ€™s questions for agencies to answer, but without you and your time and care it would have taken much longer.

Just a quick message to say that the Council have confirmed the car will be removed over the coming days (possibly tomorrow).

I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone in the community who kept this high on the agenda and showed how much it meant to them that it was dealt with.

As residents of Worle, we have personally witnessed the escalating issue of dangerous speeding along the Queensway. Over the past few years, our peaceful community has been disrupted by excessive noise nd danger to pedestrians and other drivers from cars recklessly speeding down this road.

We urgently need the local authority to implement effective speed control measures on Queensway. This could include installing speed cameras, noise cameras or engaging with residents to design and develop other appropriate traffic calming measures. We believe these actions will deter drivers from exceeding the speed limit and, thereby, reduce both noise pollution and risk of accidents.

Our community deserves peace and safety. Let's act now before someone else is seriously hurt or worse due to reckless driving on Queensway.

Please sign this petition urging local authorities for immediate action against dangerous speeding along Queensway in Worle.

Stop dangerous driving along the Queensway in Worle
