At 303 Squadron, we are looking for enthusiastic adults to join our Adult Volunteer team.
There is no requirement for you to have any prior military knowledge or experience, but if you do it would directly benefit our cadets.
There are some fantastic opportunities available including sport, military skills, cyber, space, amongst other activities. These are just as much for you as adult volunteers as they are for the cadets.
Initially you’d join us as a Civilian Instructor on the Squadron. This is the first step into becoming a Cadet Forces Adult Volunteer. There are opportunities, with support and training, to develop into a uniformed role. You will help our cadets grow their leadership and team working skills, and can even gain nationally recognised qualifications. It can certainly have an enormous impact on your life.
We parade on both Monday & Wednesday evenings (18:30 – 21:00). There is no expectation for you to attend twice weekly, however we do ask for a commitment of up to 12 hours per month.
Requirements to join as an Adult Volunteer:
> Over 20
> Live in or be able to travel to Worksop Squadron
> Be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
If you are interested in joining as an Adult Volunteer or would like to come and have a look around first, to see how we operate, please do let us know. You can contact the Squadron Adjutant ([email protected]) via email, or complete an interest form https://www.raf.mod.uk/aircadets/interested-in-joining-as-a-volunteer/?squadronno=303&id=63407B0D-E465-476C-A84041B4734E015F
