Annual event celebrates Black History Month

The Bassetlaw Black History Month event will be back at the end of October featuring entertainment, panel discussions and support that can help to build a more diverse community in our district.

Hosted at Worksop Town Hall on Saturday 26th October, the event has been supported by local councillors who have donated £800 from their Community Grants.

Tomorrow will be amazing... We look forward to welcoming over 150 people people, along with incredible panellist and stall holders. You are welcome to come through for the stalls from 3pm. Food vendors, face painting, companies recruiting, other charitable organisations, and more...

We want to personally thank everyone on behalf of the team ( and W2 Academy) for honouring our invitation. Thank you to Bassetlaw District Council and the councillors for the backing.

Last year, we introduced Black History Month Events in Bassetlaw, and this year, we are celebrating our collective effort to co-create the community we all desire to live in.

We would like to end the week with this: A BIG thank you to the councillors, the Worksop Charter Trustees and Mayor Tindel for their incredible support and funds to make this year's Bassetlaw Black History Month Event happen.

In joint effort to build a stronger community, it is our privilege to invite you to the 2024 event themed: Building A Stronger And More Resilient Community through Networking.

There is a FREE session from 3-4pm with face painting for children and more.
