what a fabulous day we all had at Canon hall Farm on Thursday. we had arranged a tour of the farm and were pleasantly surprised to find that Rob & Dave the owners guided us around.
We enjoyed grooming the miniature donkeys and the ever playful Doris the donkey made us all laugh with her antics
We were also shown their prized sheep, bulls and shire horses. it was a fun and informative day.
A nice meal was then enjoyed in one of the restaurants on site.
We shall definitely be going back , a lovely place to visit with family and friends.

We enjoyed a visit to Wentworth House in Rotherham.
A big thank you to Joanne who was our very knowledgeable tour guide .
We enjoyed lunch then visited the gardens , and the main ballroom. It was interesting to see the rooms where the likes of The Darkest hour, Downtown Abbey and Bodies were filmed to name but a few.

Any unclaimed prizes left by the end of July will be donated elsewhere.

A huge thank you to the stall holders in the village hall and on the green during Shireoaks & District WI Annual Duck Race on Sunday. The items on offer were of such high quality and individuality.
