Each month Cumberland Youth Voice visits James Rennie 6th Form, as a part of our extended Unique Voices youth voice offer.

This month we focused on Learning Disability Week.

Their message was simple but vitally important!

Their version of being seen, valued, supported and accepted is to communicate with them on their school trips!

I can tell you that this is a bunch of super Young People. So do give them a wave or say hi if you them out and about in the Carlisle Community!

What actually saves lives:

Tell them to float on their back.
Throw something that floats.

Really productive night at Longtown Youth Voice drop in, with really good ideas shared in a "World Cup of ideas" (youth voice) Football challenge and the classic "£5 game..." As we know Longtown loves a game of footy!

Prizes claimed from fruit bags, A few sweets, Football stickers and a top prize of a 5er voucher!
