πŸš‘ Worcester β€” we need your help πŸ’›
Our Community First Responders’ car is becoming unreliable and costly to run, and we need a new vehicle to keep responding to emergencies quickly.
We’ve set up a JustGiving page to raise funds β€” every donation, big or small, helps keep us on the road saving lives.
πŸ‘‰ Please donate if you can and share to support us.
Thank you πŸ’›

πŸŽ‰ Huge congratulations to Chris for successfully completing his training hours – a fantastic achievement! Your hard work and dedication have really paid off, and we’re proud to have you as part of the team. πŸ‘

We’d also like to give a very warm welcome to Sandeep, who has recently joined the team. We’re delighted to have you on board and look forward to working with you.

From everyone here, thank you both for supporting the community and the work we do. πŸ’™πŸš‘

When you park, please take a moment to think beyond convenience. Fire engines, ambulances, and other emergency vehicles need clear, wide access to reach people in need. Parking too close to junctions, on corners, across entrances, or on narrow roads can delay emergency response and put lives at risk.

Please help keep the community safe by:
βœ… Avoiding parking on corners or bends.
βœ… Leaving enough space on narrow streets.
βœ… Not blocking driveways or access points.
βœ… Following all parking signs and restrictions.

Please help to keep routes clear and ensure our fire crews can get through when they’re needed most.
Thank you for doing your part to keep everyone safe.

Did you know that over 50% of WMAS’s workforce are women?

From our frontline teams and Patient Transport Service crews to call assessors and clinicians in our control rooms, Community First Responders, corporate colleagues, VPOs and stores, women play a vital role across every part of our service.

Thank you for everything you do to support our patients and communities every day. πŸ’š

RC718 was once again out providing emergency cover in support of West Midlands Ambulance Service.
During a five-hour shift last night, the crew attended two Category 2 calls, with both patients conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital.

The crew of RC718 would like to wish both patients a speedy and full recovery. πŸ’™

Meanwhile, everyone at Worcester Community Responders would like to send huge congratulations to one of our newest trainees, who has successfully completed her buddy shifts and is now responding independently. We’re incredibly proud of you β€” fly solo and stay safe! πŸš‘βœ¨
