New College Worcester Network

New College Worcester Network New College Worcester is a national residential School and College for young people aged 11 - 19 who are blind or vision impaired.

Join our Network page to keep up to date with the latest fundraising and community news! The majority of our students school fees are paid by their own local authority. This covers the cost of their education and residency and any one-one support a student may need. However, the costs associated with general maintenance, unexpected repairs, the school refurbishment programme, school vehicles and m

ost trips and activities are paid for by the School, supported as much as possible by our Fundraising department. We are always very grateful to receive donations that in some way helps to provide our students with the facilities, opportunities and experiences they deserve. Our fundraising team work with supporters from across the UK and are always on hand to support you in your fundraising efforts.

🌿 Volunteers needed to help transform an outdoor space at NCW 🌿

We’re looking for local businesses to support an exciting volunteering project at New College Worcester.

Together, we want to transform an unused outdoor area into a welcoming, accessible wellbeing and sensory space for our students who are blind or vision impaired. 🧡

This new space will provide opportunities for relaxation, social connection, sensory engagement and quiet reflection — helping to support wellbeing, confidence and independence beyond the classroom.

We’re currently looking for support with:

🌱 Gardening and planting
🪵 General outdoor improvements
🧹 Clearing and preparing the area
🎨 Painting and practical tasks
🌿 Donations of plants and gardening items

Whether you can give a few hours, a full day, materials, skills or expertise, your support could help create something truly special for our students.

If you or your organisation would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

📧 Get in touch by e-mail: [email protected] or give us a ring on 01905 763933 and ask to speak to fundraising.
