As you enjoy your last week with your friends and family and get prepared for coming back to school, nursery and work.

Remember for some of us its a massive transition from slower mornings, late nights, continuous snacks, wearing what you have wanted, no pressures of having to be somewhere for a certain time and in general just less demands.

So take this week to prepare your child for getting ready to return.

Talk about us, get back into the bedtime routine, tell them about their new group if they have one, their new key person, the fun they will have, the new park and most of all we are looking forward to seeing them.

Some children may cry when they were settled before, some may run in either way is fine because we will continue to make sure they are nurtured back into the centre.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday 7th September.

Invoices and consumables fees will be on babys days for payments by 7th.

Bus to: Stourport High Street (Note: Stourport does not have a dedicated bus station terminal) 🛑
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 4-minutes to Riverside Meadows [Riverside Meadows].
🌳 Park Features: Active skatepark, awesome kids' play area, open spaces, children’s PAYG fun park rides, free paddling pool and free live bandstand music every single Sunday afternoon from 2pm–4pm! 🎺 [Riverside Meadows].
📍 KIDDERMINSTER
Bus to: Kidderminster Bus Station 🏢
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 19-minutes to Brinton Park.
🌳 Park Features: Features a fantastic splash pad, a large skatepark, a bandstand with summer music, and massive open spaces for football.
📍 BROMSGROVE
Bus to: Bromsgrove Bus Station 🏢
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 3-minutes to Sanders Park [Sanders Park].
🌳 Park Features: Features a massive outdoor skatepark, basketball courts, play area, free summer events, a duck pond, and free live Jubilee Bandstand concerts every Sunday afternoon! 🎸 [Sanders Park]

📍 EVESHAM
Bus to: Evesham Bus Station 🏢
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 5-minutes to Abbey Park [Abbey Park].
🌳 Park Features: Features a brilliant splash pad to cool down, a massive playground, historic abbey ruins, and scenic riverside walks. (Limited Sunday buses). [Abbey Park]
📍 DROITWICH SPA
Bus to: Victoria Square Stops (Note: Droitwich does not have a dedicated bus station terminal) 🛑
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 8-minutes to Lido Park [Lido Park].
🌳 Park Features: Great play areas, NEW large splash pad, cafe, courts and band stand playing live music in a Sunday. (Very limited Sunday buses). [Lido Park]

📍 WORCESTER
Bus to: Crowngate Bus Station 🏢
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 15-minutes to Gheluvelt Park [Gheluvelt Park].
🌳 Park Features: Home to Worcester’s top splash pad, play area. Duck pond, cafe, a historic bandstand with occasional free live Sunday music.
📍 REDDITCH
Bus to: Redditch Bus Station 🏢
🚶‍♂️🌿 Walk: 47-minutes to Arrow Valley Country Park (or just 10 mins if you catch the 57/58 bus from the station using your free pass!) 🚌 [Arrow Valley Country Park]
🌳 Park Features: A massive 29-acre lake, large playarea, free summer events, skatepark, and tons of trails. [Arrow Valley Country Park]
⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: Fewer buses are likely to run on Sundays. Please check with the main bus companies (like First Worcester or Diamond Bus) for exact Sunday timetables and further details before you travel!

Yesterday we had the prevlidge to host our first graduation ceremony for our school leavers 2026 at Lighthouse Family Centre.

Some of these children have been with us for 2 years, made a move from Nunnery Wood Preschool and embraced a new setting and they took it all in their stride. Becoming resilient capable young people ready for their next destination.

We are incredibly proud of each and every single child who made our first ceremony so special.

Go fly our Gulls and flourish and show the world how amazing you all are.
