🎉 WE DID IT! Together, we raised an incredible £4,659.87! 🎉
A massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Black-Tie Charity Gala on Saturday 26th September. Local businesses, residents, and benefactors stepped up in a huge way, sparking some fierce (but friendly!) bidding wars during our live auctions, silent auctions, and raffles.
These vital funds arrive at a critical time. Every single penny raised will go directly toward maintaining our specialised community transport fleet and our Friendship Hub Day Centre. These services are a true lifeline—ensuring our elderly, isolated, and vulnerable neighbours across Worcester and surrounding rural areas can attend life-saving medical appointments, stay socially active, and retain their independence. 🚙❤️

We are hosting a live auction Saturday September 26th at our charity gala and would welcome you all to the opportunity to be part of it, by bidding to win our incredible items.

Today we received the very sad news that our colleague and friend Duncan Oliver has died. Duncan started volunteering as a passenger assistant for Worcester Wheels in 2015 and later joined the staff working on Worcestershire County Council SEND contracts. Unfortunately due to ill health, he had to retire from his post in 2024. I'm sure we speak for all of us in saying he will be greatly missed.

Some of our clients are enjoying a day at our Friendship Day Service. There are lots of different activities and choices for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. It's always great to see so many smiles, giggles, and happy faces. 🥰
