Leukaemia is a blood cancer. Yet too many people don’t know it.

This World Leukaemia Day, help us change that.

Greater awareness can lead to earlier diagnosis, better outcomes, and fewer people facing leukaemia alone.

And if you or someone you love has been affected by leukaemia, we’re here for you. 💙

We’re looking for volunteers to support our Tesco bucket collection and help raise vital funds for Leukaemia Care.

Your support can help us be there for people and families affected by leukaemia, providing information, advice and emotional and practical support when it matters most.

Even an hour of your time can help make a difference. 💙

Could you join us? We’d love to hear from you!

Today is World CLL Day 💛

Nick was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL), and today he’s sharing his story to help raise awareness.

CLL is a chronic condition that often develops slowly.

Nick is a valued member of the Leukaemia Care team, where he facilitates many of our support groups, helping people affected by leukaemia connect with others who truly understand.

Everyone’s experience with CLL is different. The more we talk about it, the more we can help others understand CLL. Please share Nick’s story and help us raise awareness.

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Blood Cancer Awareness Month is an important opportunity to raise awareness, share experiences and show support to everyone affected by blood cancer.

It’s also important to know the symptoms, which can include:
• Fatigue
• Unexplained bruising or bleeding
• Frequent or recurring infections
• Fever/night sweats
• Breathlessness
• Bone or joint pain

Symptoms can vary depending on the type of blood cancer. If you’re concerned about any symptoms, speak to your GP.

If you feel comfortable doing so, please comment the type of blood cancer you have/have had and something you’ve learned from living with it.👇

Sharing your experiences can help raise awareness, show support and remind others they’re not alone.

Could your story help someone Spot Leukaemia? 👀

We’re looking for people who were diagnosed with leukaemia after experiencing symptoms they didn’t realise could be signs of the disease.

If you’d be happy to share your experience and help us raise awareness through our Spot Leukaemia campaign, we’d love to hear from you.

📩 Please send us a DM to get in touch.

A huge thank you to our London to Paris team! 🚴‍♀️

What a huge achievement!

Our amazing team raised £8,343 to support people affected by leukaemia, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Their determination and fundraising will help us continue to be there for people when it matters most.

Losing your hair during chemotherapy can be an emotional and difficult part of treatment.

For some people, it can feel like losing a part of themselves. The change in appearance, missing the everyday routines and not always recognising the person looking back in the mirror can take some getting used to.

There’s no right or wrong way to feel about hair loss. You might feel sad, frustrated, angry, or simply unsure of how to feel. Whatever you’re feeling, you’re not alone. 💛

If you’re going through hair loss during chemotherapy, we’re here to offer information, support and someone to talk to.
