Our talk by Brian Hoggard on "Magical House Protection – The Archaeology of Counter-Witchcraft will take place as advertised this evening starting at 7:30 pm in Eld Hall. However, there is a slight change to how we enter the premises.

Please use the car park on Little London using the usual code emailed by our membership secretary. Walk around to the gate off Tennis Walk opposite the end of Lansdowne Road. There is no keypad on this gate, so please close it behind you and follow the path to Eld Hall as directed on the map below.

Thank you to Churchill Forge Water Mill and Museum of Carpet for hosting special tours for our conference delegates yesterday. It was such a beautiful day with the sun shining and it was a joy to see your heritage in action and meet your wonderful volunteers!

A big thank you to all who attended the South Wales & West England Regional Industrial Archaeology Conference 2026 today! We would like to send a very special thank you to Avoncroft Museum for their excellent catering team and volunteers who delivered tours of their windmill and the National Collection of Telephone Kiosks.
