As the Summer holidays draw to an end and the kids are returning back to school, we want to highlight how the initiative went! 🤔

🏞️ 12 parks across Worcestershire ✅
🏉 Over 25 Rugby balls distributed ✅
📱A direct increase of brand engagement on social media using the balls to connect with the general public✅
🔥An increase in accessibility to sports equipment & exercise✅

All this from a pile of rugby balls sat in the corner of our kit room, giving these rugby balls a new lease of life and people the opportunity to play sport! 🤝

We sure hope you enjoyed them this summer!

Next week we are launching MIXED ABILITY JUNIORS in partnership with Worcester RFC on Thursday 10th September! 🤝

Open to children of all abilities aged 9-16, this is a free, non-contact rugby programme suitable for SEN players and led by RFU Level 2 and SEN qualified coaches. 💙

A perfect opportunity for young people to enjoy rugby in a fun, inclusive and welcoming environment, every Thursday from 5:00pm to 5:45pm at Worcester RFC. 🙌

💙5 Hours 1 Minute & 30s💙

We did it! Over 40 players took part in the “Unofficial Longest Game Of Walking Rugby” a fundraising event with a difference!

Walking rugby players from Worcester RFC, Droitwich Rugby Club , Bromsgrove WR & Worcester Mixed Ability all came together to play the continuous game.

Matt Cowdrey (Coaching & Delivery Lead) said:

“The event was a huge success with over 40 people taking part over the 5 hours, everyone did a great job. It’s raised some really important funds for the foundation. Everyone had fun, played plenty of walking rugby, scored loads of tries but ultimately raised money for the foundation and spread awareness of such an important charity”

The fundraising across all the activities in “The big give” total nearly £4000 and you can still donate.
