Dan, thank you for the conversations and the care you bring!

If you’ve got even a little time to spare, you can make a real difference to people who are blind, vision impaired, d/Deaf, hard of hearing or living with dual sensory loss. Drop us a message or contact [email protected] to find out more.

MEET THE VOLUNTEERS!

Today we welcome Dan to our ’ Week post. Dan first started volunteering with Sensory Matters Worcestershire in August 2024 and previously volunteered with hospital radio in Warwickshire. Dan’s role with us is as a Telephone Befriender, talking with blind & partially sighted clients across Worcestershire. Dan says ‘I really enjoy volunteering at Sensory Matters Worcestershire talking to clients about their lives, their ups & downs and how their sight loss affects their lives. The older clients are great to talk with as they remember so much about their lives past, it’s so interesting.’ Dan also enjoys music, museums, travel & walking. Thank you Dan, you make such a difference!
