Friends of Claines CE Primary School Friends are a charity volunteering time and raising money to improve the experience of all children at Claines Everyone is welcome to get involved.

Friends of Claines are a group of parents, teachers and staff who volunteer their time to organise and run a variety of events and raise additional funds for the school.

Just a warm welcome to the Friends Committee and community. ❤️

This is me just popping up to advocate for our Friends of Claines Annual General Meeting tomorrow, and to highlight some of the opportunities coming up within the group, so come along, get involved and share your skills.

This is the time of year when roles naturally change, people step down and new opportunities open up. There are lots of different ways to contribute, whether you have a little or a lot of time to give.

We’d love to hear from anyone who feels they might have something to bring to the group, we cannot continue if we do not have your amazing skills to make this possible. The more people who get involved, the less strain there is on the core committee, and I know there are so many gifts, skills and ideas within our community.

Have a watch, see if anything sparks your interest, and come to the meeting tomorrow as advertised in the newsletter. (If you are unable to attend, get in touch with me. 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who has bought a ticket for Quiz Night so far! 🎉

We’re really pleased to say that ticket sales have now doubled over the last few days, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic evening.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is your last chance to get your tickets before sales close tonight at 9pm. It’s a fun, relaxed night, a great opportunity to meet other parents, grandparents, carers and mingle with the teachers (let’s beat them this year) all while helping to raise money for the school.

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible! 😊
