Our team comprises of pregnancy and postnatal professionals to support you from the moment you contact us, through the first two years of your baby(ies) life. All of our team are highly trained educators and additionally work in allied healthcare fields. We offer you midwives, postnatal emotional health practitioner, breastfeeding support worker, physios and qualified yoga teacher specialising in

pregnancy yoga. Everything we offer is true to our underpinning ethos of:

It's just like this; a bunch of dads, looking after their babies, playing with their toddlers, chatting, drinking coffee and convivial conversation led by our wonderful dad volunteers.

Many thanks to the wonderful Tash at the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Perinatal Mental Health Teams for organising a cake sale today 🧁🍰

Tash is just one of the incredible perinatal team runners, who is running the Worcestershire 10km/half marathon to raise much needed funds for us.

Now the summer holidays are over and life settles into a routine, are you looking for a safe, non-judgmental, friendly group for you and your baby? Our Monday groups at The Woodpecker are back next week and we would love to see you there 🥰

A warm welcome and a hot cuppa awaits you. Come as you are, no need to worry about not being "together" or not feeling your best, this group is here to meet you exactly where you are.

We understand babies, we expect them to cry and vomit and we're always on hand for poonamis! But most importantly, we understand mothers and we're here for the tough days as well as the laughs and the wins. This group is for YOU.

10-12 for parents with confidently crawling/moving/toddling babies up to age 2
12.30-2.30 for parents with pre-mobile babies
First time parents and parents of more, all welcome!

Just drop us an email to book in. We're here every week (pretty much!)

We also have spaces in our Worcester City Groups, Mondays at Worcester Warriors Foundation.

Motherwise - the essential course for new mothers - new course starting on November 5th. Spaces available.

Motherwiser - for second and more time mums - new course starting on September 11th. ONLY 2 SPACES AVAILABLE.

Becoming a parent is one of life’s biggest transitions. Motherwise is a supportive, 6-week journey designed specifically for new mums to navigate this change in a safe and nurturing environment. And when your family grows, Motherwiser supports you negotiate the new challenges.

Over the course of six weeks, you will have the space to:

Share and reflect on your birth and feeding experiences.

Explore the impact on your relationships.

Reflect on your changing identity.

Develop coping skills for challenging times.

Connect with other mums to share experiences, and mutual support.

Course Details

Duration: 6-week course

Cost: £90 (please speak to us in confidence if you require a funded or subsidised space)

We will be exploring:

🌸The Transition to Parenthood​
🌸Relationships​
🌸Exploring Anxiety​
🌸Thinking about Trauma​
🌸Depression and low mood

Tuesdays, from 15th September to 20th October, 10.30-11.30.

Our Nearly New Sale is nearly here, and we are accepting good quality donations at the Woodpecker throughout September.

See the picture for this week's DROP OFF TIMES!

We accept clothes, hard toys and books + other paraphernalia for pregnancy - 2 yrs.
Please be aware we are unable to accept soft toys, socks, milk prep machines, pram systems and car seats.

The sale itself will be 11th October 10-12 at Peopleton village hall. We won’t be accepting donations on the day unfortunately.
