Our team comprises of pregnancy and postnatal professionals to support you from the moment you contact us, through the first two years of your baby(ies) life. All of our team are highly trained educators and additionally work in allied healthcare fields. We offer you midwives, postnatal emotional health practitioner, breastfeeding support worker, physios and qualified yoga teacher specialising in pregnancy yoga. Everything we offer is true to our underpinning ethos of:

An exciting delivery for our Postnatal Ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital!

Earlier this week 20 Buddy Beds arrived, finding their final homes in the Postnatal Ward, ready to support our newest arrivals and their loved ones in those first moments together, all thanks to the supporters of Hold the Moment – Maternity Appeal.

The charity team were on hand to support the Buddy Beds arrival, and it was brilliant to see the old upright chairs being swapped over for the new reclinable Buddy Beds. The beds are specialized pieces of equipment that transform from a comfy bedside chair to a fully reclinable bed, the beds recognise that childbirth can be a long and exhausting experience, now partners can be more comfortable during this important time with their loved ones.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Appeal, we are delighted to see the first enhancements arriving in our hospitals and can’t wait to keep you updated in the coming weeks with more exciting deliveries to your hospitals!

👀Looking for a free, friendly, supportive baby and toddler group in the city centre?

👶🏼We have space in our Worcester City Parent & Baby Group and would love to welcome some new faces!

🥰Our groups offer a safe space where you can just show up as you are, there is no judgment or pretension with us, and groups are facilitated by our wonderful Faye, who will ensure you are welcomed and included.

🌟Mondays 10-12 in the fabulous soft play and sensory room at Worcester Warriors Foundation, Severn Street (just down from the cathedral). Babies and toddlers up to age 2.

💗💙💗💙 At Becoming Families, we recognise that some of our families arrive with experiences of baby loss and living in grief 💗💙💗💙 It's Baby Loss Awareness Week, a time to come together as a community to bring gentle awareness to baby loss and to hold those families and babies in our minds and hearts 💗💙💗💙

“Wave of Light” marks the end of Baby Loss Awareness Week today, 15th October. Please join us in lighting a candle in memory of those babies and the families who miss them every day.

Doesn't this birthing mamma look serene. Are you considering or planning to welcome your baby into the world at home?

This dedicated workshop is designed to provide you with the information, confidence, and community support you need to prepare for a homebirth.

Next Date: Monday 2nd November, 7.00-8.30 p.m.

Cost: £25 (This covers both the pregnant person and their birth partner).

Booking: Spaces are limited to keep the group intimate and interactive.
