Very excited to see that 16-17 year olds will get to vote in the next election.
Places such as Austria, Argentina and Brazil, as well as parts of Germany and, in the UK, Wales and Scotland, 16- and 17-year-olds are already allowed to vote in some or all elections.
We're already seeing the benefits of this in these countries which include:
* Political parties and media engaging better with young people
* Young people included in shaping the policies that affects their lives
* Potential to reform civic and political education - like Austria has done
