🌟 A Heartfelt Farewell from us 🌟

After 8 incredible years of running the Street Café, Kylie and Gemma are stepping down and handing over the reins. It’s been an amazing journey, filled with laughter, hard work, and countless wonderful moments shared with our community. We truly poured our heart and soul into every single day at the café, and we will miss it dearly.

We want to thank every single person who has supported us along the way. Your encouragement, help, and friendship made it possible for us to do what we love. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Mandy and Tracy will be taking over the running of the café. We hope you continue to support them as they take on this new chapter.

Thank you once again to everyone who has been part of our journey — your kindness and support have meant the world to us. Here’s to the future of the Street Café! This page will no longer be active but we will forward any message’s 💙

GOODY BAGS- MAY

Hello we are looking for volunteers to make up goody bags (lunch packs for our guys to take away so they have food for the following day). We would need 60 please 🙏.

Each bag consists of a sandwich on any bread or roll, filled with ham or cheese. Most people do half cheese half ham. A bag of crisps any flavour and a chocolate or biscuit bar.

You would make them up at home and drop down to us at the Salvation Army at 16 Queen St, Worcester WR1 2PL.. between 4.30-5.30
Is this something you could do?
Please do not park in the disabled parking outside but you are allowed five minutes to drop off on the double yellow lines.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who generously donated at the funeral of John Kerton.

Your kindness and support have raised vital funds that will go a long way in helping us continue our work with the homeless and most vulnerable in our community.

John had a big heart and a deep compassion for those in need, and we know he would be incredibly proud to see his memory honoured in this way.

Good morning

Can you help?

I’m filling up our diary and wondered if any lovely volunteer cooks and bakers are free to help? 🙏 We would need 55 portions per night this can be spilt and two cooks do half each.. please let us know if you only want to do 25 so we can split that date.

These meals/ puddings can be cooked at the Salvation Army or you can do this at home. .
The meals would need to be portioned into individual takeaway containers and if cooked at home brought down to us hot for 5 to 5.30 and ready to serve for 6 at the Salvation Army on Trinity Street.
You are welcome to stay are serve the meals to the guys. Please let us know if you would like to do this.

Please respond in the comments below if you can help and what date you are available. I will confirm date on this post and get you booked in the diary 👍👍

If you would like to help and need more information please send us a message and we will talk you through the process.

If you are able to help but need any ingredients we can provide this and food containers and hotboxes to keep food hot. Or if you buy the ingredients we can refund if needed once we have the receipts .

GOODY BAGS – APRIL

Hi everyone,

We’re looking for volunteers to help put together goody bags (lunch packs) for our guys to take away, ensuring they have food for the following day. We need 55 bags per session.

We kindly ask for these to be donated, as it helps stretch our funds further.

Each bag should include:
• A sandwich (on any bread or roll) with ham or cheese – most people do half ham, half cheese.
• A bag of crisps (any flavor).
• A chocolate bar or biscuit bar.

You would purchase the ingredients, assemble the bags at home, and drop them off at The Salvation Army, 16 Queen St, Worcester WR1 2PL, between 4:30 – 5:30 PM.

Important:
• Please do not park in the disabled bay, but you can stop for five minutes on the double yellow lines to drop off.
