One of our volunteers has been with us for three and a half years, using their lived experience to provide valuable support to people affected by crime.
When asked why they started volunteering, they shared: 'I have lived experience and felt I could offer a new perspective on different crimes, enabling me to provide valuable support to our service users'.

One of the most rewarding parts of volunteering for them is: 'Being able to make a difference in people's lives when they are at their lowest'.

And for anyone thinking about becoming a volunteer, their advice is simple 'Don't overthink it, just do it'

This week, RJ coordinator, Sam, and Triage Team Leader, Rik, were thrilled to attend Court Street Medical Practice as part of their first ever Evening for Women's Health.
