Carbon monoxide (CO) symptoms are like everyday illnesses (or a
hangover) 🤒🤢 and can be difficult to detect.

They include unexplained headaches, dizziness, nausea, breathlessness, collapse, loss of consciousness and even death.

CO is called the 'silent killer' because you can't see, hear, smell, taste or touch it, but it can be fatal.

Fuel-burning appliances like boilers, gas fires, and cookers can produce deadly levels of CO if they are faulty, blocked, or poorly ventilated.

To help protect your home and family, make sure you know the symptoms of CO poisoning and keep safe with a with a CO alarm that alerts you to its presence. 🔊

Who qualifies?
You can register if you:

👉 Have reached State Pension age
👉 Live with a disability or long-term health condition
👉 Rely on medical equipment at home (e.g., oxygen, stairlifts)
👉 Have young children (under 5) or are pregnant
👉 Are experiencing a temporary life change (e.g., recovery from surgery, bereavement)

Join Newtown Green Community Group and Worcester Community Trust this Friday for the annual Bat Event between 6pm and 9pm.

All welcome to join us for our Bat themed evening, next Friday 2nd October (new date following recently postponed event). We'll be making bat boxes from 6-7pm at Ronkswood Community Hub and then heading out with Bat detectors on our Bat walk around Newtown Green from 7pm. Thanks to our friends at Worcestershire Wildlife Trust for leading this for us 🦇
