Woodley Age Concern was first established in 1962, it began as a luncheon club and over the years it has developed into a substantial local provider of care services for older people in our community. Today we offer a wide variety of care services and activities to suit different interests and needs from our Centre in Woodley, care and support in someone’s home and activities run from locations in

the surrounding local community. Through our care services and activities we support many older people living in Wokingham, Reading, West Berkshire, Bracknell, Crowthorne and into South Oxfordshire. Today we operate on a 24/7 basis the whole year around, that is including Bank Holidays and weekends. We have a minimum of two care staff based at our Centre in Woodley 24 hours per day providing support to people staying with us for respite, residential, day and evening care, as well as for evening events and activities.
