Our friend and adviser Colin will be running the Wokingham half marathon today, along with 3 others in support of Share!

Great news … we’re reopening today, and looking forward to welcoming everyone back 💚

We are open 3.30 until 4.30, and we’re ready to do what we do best … saving good food from going to waste, and supporting our community.

You’ll find them at 9 Station Road, Wokingham RG40 2AD … opposite Shute End, and next to the Hope & Anchor.

Well done Clive, a very well deserved accolade 👏🏻

Huge congratulations to our wonderful volunteer Clive Tyldesley, who has been recognised in the New Year’s Honours list with an OBE for services to Sports Broadcasting and Charity.

We’re incredibly proud to have Clive as part of our volunteer team at our Arborfield site, where he gives his time and energy to help tackle food waste and support our community.

A huge thank you to Woodley Town Council and Mayor Juliet Anderson for choosing us as her Charity of the Year! 🎉

We were honoured to be part of the fantastic fundraising quiz she hosted recently, where over 120 wonderful people took part. We’re incredibly grateful to have received the ticket sale proceeds, as well as the opportunity to run the bar, raffle and snack stall on the night.
Thanks to everyone’s generosity and hard work, the event raised an amazing £2,072! 🙌

We’re delighted to share that these funds will go towards purchasing new fridges and freezers, helping us continue our work in Woodley and support even more people in our community 💚

Thank you again to Mayor Juliet Anderson, Woodley Town Council, and every single person who attended, volunteered, donated or cheered us on. Together, we’re making a real difference ♻️

Youth cafe starts today at Emmanuel Church, Woodley. Drop in anytime you like between 3.45 and 5.00 for some cake, chat and games. Open to young people in years 6-9.

Morning all

We will be making a few changes from today:

* Teas and Coffees will now be served in the back hall, with much more seating available there for the waiting area

* The packing area will be moving to the lobby, with much more space to pack

* We will be slightly changing the layout in the main hall to allow for shopping trolley packing along the back wall (where the bread team were)

* Tickets will be called from the back hall

NB there will be a small amount of seating in the lobby but only for those with mobility issues. Thank you for keeping these seats available for those who need them most.

On another note, we have very few shopping bags left. These are often being given out to the same people - please remember to bring your shopping bags with you. These should really only be for new clients.
