We’re back!

Pre-season kicks off this Saturday and there’s a lot going on at the club - bring the family, bring your mates.

📍 Saturday 5th September, Hatchley Barn IP12 2PP

1.30pm – Presidents Lunch (BBQ, free for VPs/volunteers/sponsors, open to all to purchase)
3.00pm – Woodbridge vs Ipswich YM (friendly)

4.00pm - South Africa vs New Zealand on TV

Then… DJ and music to see the day out 🎶

Refreshments available for everyone, all day. Come down, catch up after the summer, and cheer the lads on.

The new season kicks off in style! Join us for a cracking day of rugby, music, food and community as we welcome our VPs, volunteers and sponsors old and new.

**NEW VPs & Sponsors welcome — get in touch to be added!**
All club volunteers and VPs, have lunch on us!

📅 **Saturday 5th September 2026**

🍺 **11:45am** – Bar opens, VPs/Volunteers/Sponsors arrival & welcome
🍔 **12:00pm** – FREE BBQ lunch for our VPs, Volunteers & Sponsors (sign up via SportMember!)
🏉 **12:00pm** – Amazons v Ipswich YM Wyverns
🏉 **3:00pm** – Warriors v Ipswich YM
🎧 **4pm till late** – Rob DJ gets the party going

Loaded fries van on site for spectators too, so come hungry!

👋 New to Woodbridge? Come say hello — committee will be on hand to help you get started.

Fixtures:
🔹 Competitive rugby provisionally resumes w/c 21st Sept (pending RFU confirmation)
🔹 Colts — awaiting update on opening fixture
🔹 Youth — fixtures start late Sept/Oct, hoping these go ahead
🔹 Minis — festivals/fixtures after 21st Sept expected to proceed

A short delay to fixtures, but Sunday mornings are back on 6th Sept 🩵🖤

Come join the Warrior Family at Woodbridge Rugby Club.

Whether you’re completely new to rugby, returning after a break, new to the area, or just curious about giving it a go - you’re very welcome here. All abilities catered for, no experience needed.

We’re back for pre-season training from Tuesday 14th July at 7.15pm at and every Tuesday and Thursday after that.

Not sure if rugby is for you? Come along to Rugby Touch on any Thursday evening - it’s a brilliant, low-pressure way to give it a try, make some friends, and see what we’re all about. No kit needed, just pitch up.
