Our community garden has got a little bit smaller recently. Pete was involved in the garden from the very beginning and will be very much missed by all. Sending all our love to Barbara and his family. 💕

The Tulips are looking lovely in the garden and another project is underway!

Spring has sprung! We've just finished up our monthly meeting down at the garden. Agenda items for this month include building a bug hotel. Pallets are in place, ready to be filled in, with lots for the environment. Greenhouse seedlings are all coming on nicely too!

It was an honour to be invited to a celebratory event, hosted by the Mayor Councillor Leech, to mark the winners of Barnsley's Best Garden 2025.

In particular, great to catch up with the fabulous volunteers from Wombwell Station Community Garden who were celebrating their success in the community garden section.

Well done to all involved and here's to another year of green-fingered success in 2026! 👩🏻‍🌾🌻

Unbelievably proud of our dedicated team of volunteers and a big thanks to all who voted for us in the Barnsley Chronicle We've got big plans and lots of love for our little patch of land.
