Community Cookalong MK Short cookery courses teaching basic skills, creating a main and a pudding weekly. Wednesday afternoons, term time, Wolverton, prebook.

- University students Keen to learn a new life skill and cook from scratch? Would you like to cook and eat together as a family? Need inspiration for trying new food and budgeting? If the answer is YES then join our free weekly cooking course! This basic cooking workshop is aimed at parents/carers and childr

en aged 8-14 years
old and will help you learn basic cooking skills, save money and enjoy food together. During the six-week course you will learn how to make main meals (including lasagne
and pizza flatbreads) and puddings (such as chocolate and banana brownies), receive
recipes and learn the key skills you need to cook from scratch. The six sessions are term time, Wednesdays 3.30-6pm at The Old Bath
House in Wolverton. Sessions are free thanks to funding from Hubbub. A
£5 deposit is required which is returned on completion of the full six weeks. Younger or older siblings are welcome to attend and join in with the cooking (and
eating!). Participants need to attend ALL six sessions and complete a questionnaire at
the start and end of the course. If you and your family would like to register for a place, please complete the simple

The courses are every half term for the school year 2022/2023, so don’t worry if you

Adults Cooking Course!

Keen to learn to cook from scratch or brush up on skills?
Would you like to cook and eat with new friends?
Do you need inspiration for trying new food and saving money?
If the answer is YES we would love you to join us!

🟢 When? Starting 11th January, there will be 5 sessions, 1:30-4:30pm every Sunday afternoon for 5 weeks.
🟢 Where? The Old Bath House and Community Centre, 205 Stratford Road. Wolverton.
🟢 Why? You will learn how to make healthy main meals (including chilli, stirfry and pizza) and puddings (such as fruit crumble and brownies), receive recipes, and learn the key skills you need to cook from scratch, all while making new friends in the area.

Sessions are free thanks to funding from Hubbub. A £10 deposit is required which is returned on completion of the full five weeks.
