The ARC - the ashmore rescue for cats Rescue for cats/kittens in need. Based in Wolverhampton, rehoming through out the UK. A minimum donat We are willing to rehome nationwide.

I neuter ALL cats and kittens meaning none will leave me and go on to reproduce adding to the amount of cats and kittens abandoned or stuck in shelters/rescues. All cats and kittens are also vaccinated and microchipped before leaving. I do not vaccinate for FeLV simply because a lot of the cats/kittens that arrive are poorly or have low immune systems due to neglect and this particular vaccination

can cause them more harm than good. I flea and worm treat all cats and kittens and they are blood tested for FeLV/FIV wherever needed. I'm a small self funding rescue and money is extremely tight - in fact it costs me far more money to look after these cats and kittens than I have back in adoption/donation fees - I do not 'make' anything out of them. With food, litter, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, microchipping, blood tests and of course neutering plus vet fees in cases of illness etc, costs are high so I ask for a minimum donation of £135 for all cats and kittens. You may ask 'why should I pay that when I can get a 'free ad' kitten?' The answer is simple. You have then got to pay for the vaccinating, neutering, microchipping, flea & worm treatment. You will want to know that the new kitten is healthy - mine are all vet checked prior to neutering, you will not have the hassle of going backwards and forwards to the vets for the vaccinating/neutering - and most of all you are rescuing a cat or kitten in need of a forever home. A homecheck is required before anyone meets the cats and kittens. Ways you can help The ARC:

URGENT TRAPPING HELP FOR A CAT WITH A BAG TAPED OVER IT HEAD!
Some young lads have managed to rip the bag open so the cat can breath but it’s tight around its neck so needs to be caught

Strictly indoors or with a catio/catproofed garden. Please don’t enquire if you aren’t prepared to keep her safe

Hattie is a very special little girl who arrived just days after little Rosie (dog bait kitten). Hattie like Rosie had a leg missing - most likely bitten off! Thankfully this was the only injury although she has been left traumatised. Link to her story is at the bottom of this post.

Hattie is a very timid girl but who can blame her after what she has been through. Once you pick her up and cuddle her she’s adorable but she is scared of human contact initially. She needs a home where she is given all the time she needs to feel safe and to start to trust humans again. Gaining the trust of a scared cat is an amazing feeling and so worthwhile - and once that happens the love they give you is totally unconditional.
Hattie is around 6-8 months old and loves the company of other gentle cats. Her amputation wound is now completely healed and she’s since been spayed, had her course of vaccinations and is now microchipped.
She is ready to start looking for the perfect home where she’ll be given the chance to thrive. No young children or dogs please.
If you feel you can offer Hattie the home she truly deserves and you are willing to give her all the time she needs please send your full address and a contact number plus a little info about your home and family life so that a homecheck can be arranged.
We ask for a minimum donation of £135 for EACH cat or kitten which only goes part way towards the care and treatment they receive while in rescue - Hattie’s treatment has cost well over £1000….
We are based in Wolverhampton but rehome throughout the UK as long as a satisfactory homecheck can be completed x

I totally forgot to update on the weekends events!
We had a fabulous evening out for Jude’s birthday where he put on an evening of live music along with all his wonderful friends atThe Chinditt in Wolverhampton. We never get a day off so this was lovely as although it was a fundraiser it was a night out for us too 😊 We raided a wonderful £196 which is really brilliant for a small pub and just a tombola 😻

We also had Samantha and Martyn fundraising inJollyes Willenhall - The Pet Peoplee on Sunday where they ran a tombola that was supported byGinger Cat Craftss 😻 They raised a fabulous £177 throughout the day meaning over the weekend we had a total of £373.00 😊

Thankyou to everyone involved in making this happen, this will be put towards the cat food that we are constantly purchasing 😘

Luke arrived in rescue after being taken into my vets by a member of the public. He was advertised as found but no one came forward to claim him and he was roaming around on a very busy road. He’s an absolute pleasure to have around and loves people. He seems fine with other gentle cats but would be perfectly fine as an only cat too. If you want an adorable love bug then Luke is the cat for you 😻
He is now neutered, vaccinated, microchipped plus upto date with flea and worm treatments.
