🐿️🎉 Happy 5th Birthday to Squirrels! 🎂⚜️

We’re joining The Scouts in celebrating 5 amazing years of Squirrels! 💜

Over the past five years, Squirrels have been helping our youngest adventurers build confidence, make new friends and discover the fun of Scouting through play, creativity and exciting activities! 🌳✨

It’s wonderful to see how Scouting continues to inspire young people from such an early age.

Here’s to many more years of adventures, laughter and memories! 🥳

Happy Birthday, Squirrels! 🐿️💜

💭 What did you love doing as a child?

Building dens? 🌳
Camping under the stars? 🏕️
Getting muddy? 😂
Learning to tie knots? 🪢
Or just being outside with your friends until it got dark?

So many of the simple adventures we remember from childhood are still a big part of Scouting today. 💜⚜️

Parents — what’s one childhood adventure you think every child should experience at least once?

🎉 120 Years of Scouts! ⚜️

Next year marks an amazing milestone — 120 years of Scouts! 🥳

From the very first experimental Scout camp on Brownsea Island in 1907 to millions of young people taking part in Scouting today, it’s incredible to be part of such a long history. 💜

We’re proud that our Beavers and Cubs are part of the next generation of Scouts, making memories, learning new skills and having adventures of their own. 🏕️🌲

And how great does the special 120 Years of Scouts badge look?! 👀⚜️

We’d love to welcome more young people to 1st Ettingshall (Holy Trinity) Scout Group!

If your child already comes along and enjoys Scouts, why not tell a friend? They might love it too. 😊

It’s a chance to make new friends, try new things, get outdoors, build confidence and, most importantly, have plenty of fun along the way! 🌲🏕️

🌿 Giving Back to Our Community 💚

Yesterday, our Beavers and Cubs got stuck into litter picking around our local community! 🧤🗑️

They did a fantastic job working together to help make the area cleaner and tidier for everyone. It’s a great way for our young people to learn about looking after the environment, taking pride in where they live and making a positive difference. 🌍⚜️

A big well done to all our Beavers and Cubs who took part — great teamwork! 👏💚
