1st Essington Scout and Guide Headquarters

Yesterday some of Scouts walked from Broad Street Birmingham to Broad Street Wolverhampton, it was around 14 miles in total, which means they walked a combined total of 154 miles!!

This means they have walked the equivalent of walking to Great Tower campsite where they will be going this year and what the fundraiser is for. 🚶🏼‍♀️🚶

Our 1st Essington Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Leaders and their families had an amazing time hosting Funtime Theatre for a magical performance of Snow White.
Laughter, singing, and panto fun all around! 🎭❄️🍎

Thank you to all those who were able to come and support us and St John's Primary Academy Essington, it certainly wasn’t the driest of evenings and a huge thank you to all our volunteers who are all home drying out and having a warm drink.

See you all Sunday for our Village parade and Service of Remembrance at St John's Church, Essington, the forecast is looking kinder to us at the moment.
