The “Razom”Welcome Cafe & Shop will be open this Friday the 9th of October, 11.00am -3pm.

Dear Friends. Razom was very busy today. Thanks to Kate, Lisa, Maggie, Hanya & Tanya for the crafting club.
Many thanks to Helena & Michael Bachyk of "Michael Kirk Butchers W-ton”, for supplying the refreshments, Neville & Rosemary for picking up the fair share food and all the bakers for your lovely cakes.
A special thank you to Marko Kuszta for coming and carrying out repairs to the gates and installing the new emergency exit lights.
Thank you, as usual to all our volunteers: Welcome desk, (Liz Jones), translators, (Hanya, Tymur), shop, (Cathy, Andrew, Brian, Lillia, William, Olivia, Olya), and kitchen, (Liz , Hanya), you all do a fantastic job. - Greg and the “Razom” Welcome Centre Volunteers.

Last Saturday our Razom Crafting Club made £228.50 for humanitarian projects in Ukraine. Many thanks to all the crafters for their wonderful creations and to Kate, Maggie, Olia & Lisa for giving up their Saturday to help Ukrainian people in need.

Macmillan Afternoon Tea & Craft Fayre at St Michael's Church on Saturday the 26th of September 2pm -4.30pm. Lots of cakes and crafts. Razom Crafting Club has been kindly invited back again to sell their crafts.

On FRIDAY 30th of OCTOBER it will be Neville Collins’ 90th birthday and we are going to have a SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY, (during Razom hours), for him, starting at midday. Rosemary, (his wife), knows and she has invited their English friends.
Neville has worked and been a part of our Ukrainian community for many, many years and it is only right that we say a big thank you to him on his special day.
In the early days and weeks after the full scale invasion, Neville worked tirelessly by collecting and sorting items that were collected by our AUGB branch, then he moved onto the Wolverhampton Fire Service where he sorted out tons of essential items that were sent to Ukraine via Dan Zenchuk. For the past 4 and a half years, he has collected and given out Easter eggs and Christmas selection boxes for every child. Picked up the Fairshare food and delivered it to our Razom Welcome Centre every week. Organised various money raising coffee mornings at his local church. Secured a grant from the St Vincent de Paul Society to help our Ukrainian guests by purchasing household appliances when they moved out of their sponsor’s homes into their own accommodation. Picked up and delivered furniture for our Ukrainian guests. That is just a fraction of what he has done, to be honest, the list is endless.
Over the last few months Neville has not been well and has been hospitalised a few times, so I ask you to show Neville your appreciation and love by attending his surprise party and saying a big “THANK YOU”. If you know Neville, please come along.

У П'ЯТНИЦЮ 30 ЖОВТНЯ’, Невілл Коллінз святкуватиме своє 90-річчя. З цієї нагоди ми влаштовуємо для нього СЮРПРИЗ-ВЕЧІРКУ, що розпочнеться опівдні (у години роботи центру «Razom»). Його дружина Розмарі знає про це й уже запросила їхніх англійських друзів.
Невілл протягом багатьох років працював на благо нашої української громади та був її активним учасником, тож цілком слушно буде висловити йому щиру вдячність у цей особливий день.
У перші дні та тижні після повномасштабного вторгнення Невілл невтомно працював, збираючи та сортуючи речі, які надходили до нашого відділення СУБ. Згодом він долучився до роботи пожежної служби Вoлвергaмптона, де сортував тонни необхідних речей, що відправлялися в Україну за сприяння Дaна Зенчука. Протягом останніх чотирьох із половиною років він збирав і роздавав великодні яйця та різдвяні подарункові набори солодощів для кожної дитини. Щотижня він забирав продукти від організації «FareShare» і доставляв їх до нашого центру «Razom Welcome Centre». Він організовував благодійні кавові зустрічі у своїй місцевій церкві для збору коштів. Домігся отримання гранту від Товариства святого Вінсента де Поля, щоб допомогти українським гостям придбати побутову техніку під час переїзду з домівок спонсорів до власного житла. Також він займався перевезенням меблів для українських гостей. Усе це — лише частина того, що він зробив; чесно кажучи, цей перелік можна продовжувати нескінченно.
Останніми місяцями Невілл хворів і кілька разів потрапляв до лікарні, тому ми просимо вас висловити йому свою вдячність, завітавши на вечірку-сюрприз і сказавши гучне «ДЯКУЄМО».
