Our aim is to provide a friendly, confidential and outstanding service for anyone regardless of their background and situation. Our services and opening times for Wolverhampton, Walsall and Birmingham Offices:

Everyone deserves the chance to live free from abuse. Yet for migrant women with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF), leaving an abusive home can mean facing the very real risk of homelessness.

It’s a reminder of the difference that the right welcome and timely support can make as people begin to rebuild their lives.

Rebuilding a life in a new country takes more than just legal paperwork. At RMC, we take a whole-person approach to support.

Beyond immigration casework, our dedicated teams assist people with:
✅ Registering with local GPs & accessing healthcare
✅ Housing support
✅ Setting up bank accounts & financial independence
✅ Accessing English classes & employment support

Discovering and learning about nature with the Birmingham TreePeople 🌳

We had a great time working with our resettled families, learning about the importance of trees. Over the coming months, families will help choose a location, select the trees, and take part in planting and caring for them.

Welcome is for everyone!

Children and adults can take part and complete 3 simple acts of welcome this weekend:

✅Welcome someone new: Make a card, send a message, or say hello to a new neighbour, classmate or colleague to help them feel included.

✅Invite someone to join in: If you see someone on their own at school, work, the park or a community event, invite them to join your game, activity or conversation.

✅Learn a new friendly greeting: Find out how to say "hello" or "welcome" in a different language and practice saying it to a new friend.

We want to give a massive shoutout to our brilliant partners at the West Midlands Multibank.

As Muhammed, their Coordinator, shares in this video, their mission is simple but powerful: reducing child poverty and protecting the environment by redistributing surplus goods to more than 90 local charities.

We've been working with them for a while, and they are phenomenal partners. Hearing Muhammed talk about the joy of seeing the photos, emails, and smiles from the families receiving these items reminds us why this collaboration is so vital.

When community organisations team up, the whole community wins. Thank you, Multibank!

Today is the 75th Anniversary of the 1951 Refugee Convention.

The Refugee Convention is the foundation of the international refugee protection system and the basis of the UNHCR's work. Together with its Protocol, it defines who is a refugee, outlines their rights and responsibilities, and explains the responsibilities countries that have signed it have to protect them.

It contains a simple but vital principle - that people fleeing persecution have the right to seek and find safety and must not be sent to danger.

It's more than a legal document. It is a practical, lifesaving tool that helps countries respond to refugee displacement in an orderly, predictable way while protecting people in need of safety.

Navigating complex UK systems can be overwhelming, especially when English is your second language. That’s why we're so proud of our team's diversity and ability to provide over 50 community languages, ensuring individuals can communicate their needs clearly and comfortably.

We provide free, accredited advice on an open-door basis across the West Midlands, so people can access help right when they need it most.
