Wolverhampton Sea Cadets and Royal Marine Cadets The Sea Cadets are the UK's biggest Maritime Youth Organisation and Wolverhampton Unit is 1 of over 400 Units in the country!

We are a uniformed youth organisation whose sole purpose is to give young people the best possible headstart in life through nautical adventure and fun, all whilst based on the customs and ethos of the Royal Navy. Cadets go to sea, learn to sail and do adventure training, on a nautical theme, plus you can get extra qualifications to give you a head start in life. If you are between 10 and 12 you c

an join as a Junior, 12 to 18 as a Sea Cadet and join 14,000 other Sea Cadets across the UK. Gain qualifications that will help you get ahead in the real world including BTEC, Duke of Edinbourgh and RYA.

What an incredible day our cadets have had in Barmouth! From enjoying the stunning beach to spending quality time together, it was a day full of laughter, games, and unforgettable memories.

Days like these are about so much more than just a trip—they help build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create experiences that our cadets will remember for years to come.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers and staff who gave up their time to make today possible, and well done to all of our cadets for keeping us entertained! You should all be very proud!

We can't wait for the next adventure! 🌞🌊⚓

One of the true highlights of being Mayor is meeting my Mayoral Cadets. These are outstanding young people who have been put forward by their units in recognition of their character, commitment and potential. It was a pleasure to present Marine Cadet Fraiser Ross with his badge and formally welcome him into his role as one of the Mayor's Cadets for the year ahead. Today, the detachment hosted an RMC Fieldcraft refresher with Walsall and Telford RMC detachments 🎉

They practiced camouflage & concealment, patrolling, fire & movement, section battle drills and much more 😁

Well done to all cadets and staff involved and hope you feel ready for summer camp next month!!
