Ever wondered what a career in the Royal Air Force (RAF) could look like? ✈️

The RAF has recently launched a brand-new RAF Virtual Work Experience Programme, giving young people a fantastic opportunity to explore RAF careers, develop employability skills, and gain valuable insight into the wide range of pathways available within the Royal Air Force.

This opportunity is not limited to Royal Air Force Air Cadets.

It is open to all young people who are interested in learning more about the RAF and building skills that will support their future career ambitions.

Participants will:

✅ Explore RAF career pathways
✅ Develop key employability skills
✅ Gain valuable experience and insight
✅ Receive certification upon successful completion

We encourage all eligible young people to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity and register their interest using the barcode below.

Great to see 124 Hereford City Squadron ATC continuing to build momentum following a successful year supporting young people across the city 👏

Their recent AGM highlighted continued growth, alongside successful fundraising events including a curry and quiz night and raffle, with funds directly supporting opportunities for local cadets.

Cadets have benefited from a wide range of experiences, from overseas camps to inter-squadron training, helping them develop leadership skills, confidence and lifelong experiences.

It’s also a reminder that every squadron is supported by its own local charity, with trustees playing a key role in turning fundraising into real opportunities for young people.

The squadron is currently welcoming interest from anyone who would like to support as a trustee or volunteer.
