What a fantastic Easter celebration ๐Ÿฃ๐Ÿ’›

Families came together to enjoy a fun-filled day of Easter egg hunts, Rice Krispie cake making, cupcake decorating, colouring activities, and much more.

As well as providing opportunities for children to get creative and have fun, the event gave parents and carers a chance to connect, share ideas, and discuss future activities for local families.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together to build connections and celebrate community spirit ๐ŸŒทโœจ

Working together to create safer communities.

We were pleased to attend the Victims Summit alongside community organisations, partners, police representatives, and the West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner, Simon Foster, to discuss how we can better support victims and address crime affecting women, children, and vulnerable communities.

During the event, Natalie Queiroz MBE emphasised the importance of partnership working, listening to community voices, and ensuring that victims can access the right support at the right time.

Events like this provide valuable opportunities to share learning, strengthen partnerships, and explore practical ways to improve outcomes for those affected by crime.

Creating safer communities requires collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to supporting those who need us most. Together, we can help build stronger, safer, and more resilient communities for everyone.

Colour, laughter, and community filled the room as part of our Cultural Connections Project celebrating Holi Festival ๐ŸŽจโœจ

Participants took part in a colourful activity inspired by Holi traditions, covering themselves in vibrant multicoloured paint and embracing the joy, unity, and togetherness the festival represents.

Holi, often known as the Festival of Colours in Hindu culture, symbolises the arrival of spring, new beginnings, positivity, and the triumph of good over evil. It is a celebration that brings people together, breaking down barriers and encouraging friendship, inclusion, and joy.

It was wonderful to see people connecting, learning about culture, and creating colourful memories together ๐ŸŽจ

What an incredible Chair Beats session as part of our Cultural Connections Project ๐Ÿ’™

This has been our most popular event so far this year, with over 60 people attending on the day and more than 1,000 people joining us through Facebook Live.

People love coming together to move, dance, laugh, and enjoy cultural music in a welcoming and supportive space. Chair Beats shows that healthy living can be fun, inclusive, and accessible for everyone.

It encourages movement, community connection, wellbeing, and most importantly โ€“ gives people permission to let go, enjoy themselves, and simply have a good time.

This is what healthy communities and healthy living can look like โค๏ธ

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported, danced, and joined online.

Community voices matter ๐Ÿ’œ

In partnership with , we held an important discussion exploring peopleโ€™s experiences of cancer, the barriers communities face in accessing support, and what more can be done to meet local needs.

By listening to lived experiences, we can help ensure services are more inclusive, accessible, and responsive to the communities they serve.

Thank you to everyone who shared their stories and insights ๐Ÿ’œ

Healthy food, great conversations, and community connection ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒ

At our recent Kitchen Conversations event, participants came together to make fresh fruit salad while sharing stories, learning together, and enjoying time with one another.

Sessions like these are about more than food โ€“ they encourage healthy lifestyles, build confidence around simple and nutritious choices, reduce isolation, and create opportunities for people to connect in welcoming community spaces.

Small healthy habits can make a big difference, and learning together makes it even more enjoyable โค๏ธ
