Proud to see the incredible impact of Scouting on making our world a better place 🌍💚

Following the amazing world record for mangrove planting in Kenya, it’s a brilliant reminder of what can happen when young people come together with a shared purpose. From learning new skills to protecting our planet, Scouts are making a real difference — one action at a time.

Think globally. Act locally. Be prepared to make a difference. 🌱⚜️

A total of 4,124 participants successfully completed the challenge. The achievement was more than a moment for the record books. It demonstrated how Scouting can mobilise young people and partners around practical solutions to climate change and biodiversity loss.

Good luck to everyone collecting GCSE results this morning – especially our Explorers! It's a big day, whether that's sixth form, college, an apprenticeship, or still weighing up the options. Whatever the results say, we're proud of you and everything you put in to get here. We're back on Monday 7th September – come and tell us all about it. 📚

It's a big day, whether that's uni, an apprenticeship, work, or still figuring it out. Whatever the results say, we're proud of you and everything you've achieved along the way. 🎓

Happy World Scout Scarf Day! Every 1st August, Scouts everywhere wear their neckerchief in public to mark the anniversary of the very first Scout camp on Brownsea Island back in 1907. Get yours on today and tag us in your photos – we'd love to see them! 🧣

This weekend the Explorer Scouts took part in our annual summer camp, joining up with 3rd Wombourne Scout Group. The Explorers and Scouts had a fantastic day exploring Barmouth, catching crabs, shrimps and even a sea bass before heading back to the campsite for an epic BBQ and fun on the beach. All rounded off with a trip to Harlech castle on Sunday.
