*This Saturday 22nd August is International Folklore Day!*

Join us for a story-themed day of *The Tree Keepers* 🌿

Follow the trail through the woodlands to find the Tree Keepers hiding among the trees.
Then head to the craft area to:
- Make your very own Tree Keeper puppet 🧵
- Create a musical instrument to dance and make your own folklore music 🎶

And don’t miss it — grab a bag of freshly picked apples for just 50p 🍎

Kingswood Trust has raised £530.28 so far through easyfundraising.org.uk and here's our chance to give that total a boost.

It's a lovely cool morning - come and join us

Many of you will know that we are setting up a new Nursery Provision. We are hoping to be able to build in:
Reuse, recycling and repurposing of learning toys, resources and materials.

We are looking for donations of the following:

Wooden blocks/bricks, wooden brio trains and track, other wooden toys.
Duplo.
Playmobil.
Puppets and small cuddly toys.
Good quality books aged 2-5 years.
Vehicles eg small dumper trucks, cars, tractors, emergency vehicles, boats and planes.

Jugs, funnels, measuring spoons/scoops/cups, water wheels, tubing, off cuts of guttering and drainpipes, plastic spray and pump bottles

Metal bowls, wooden containers and bowls, small wicker baskets

Craft materials eg…wool, twine, buttons, beads, zips, material off cuts, ribbons and lace, paper, card, shoe laces.

Wallpaper rolls

Natural materials eg cones, conkers, shells, smooth pebbles, feathers

Cardboard tubes(not loo roll tubes) small containers with screw lids, pegs, small paper bags.

If you can help us out, please drop off on Saturday mornings (with the exception of 5th September)and stay and enjoy the site free of charge.

Summer fun and summer reading

Today, we took inspiration from nature to create beautiful, decorative bookmarks for everyone to take home.

It was wonderful to see families making the most of their passes once again, as well as welcoming lots of new visitors to Kingswood Trust.

Looking for something fun to do with the family this August? Come and enjoy the great outdoors with us at Kingswood Trust.
This Saturday, 15th August - As well as enjoying our woodlands, playing outdoors and finding ways to stay cool, we’ll be getting creative and making bookmarks for your summer holiday reading.
🌳 Nature Connections is open to everyone, with activities suitable for all ages. If you’re aged 65+ and coming with a carer, you can join us on Saturdays and Tuesdays completely FREE of charge.
Calling all Superheroes…
On Monday 17th August at 10am, come along in your favourite superhero fancy dress and join us for a morning of family fun, adventure and outdoor activities!
Family tickets are just £12, including parking.
And if you can’t make it on the 17th, don’t worry, there are plenty more events happening throughout August! 🎉
