💜 Regulate & Restore: Free Somatic Movement & Breathwork Sessions 💜

What if you gave yourself just two hours to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself?

Life can feel busy, overwhelming, and demanding. We spend so much time looking after everyone else that we often forget to look after ourselves.

That's why we're so excited to offer these FREE trauma-informed Somatic Movement and Breathwork sessions, funded by Sport England and The National Lottery.

These sessions have been created as a gentle space where you can pause, release stress, reconnect with your body, and leave feeling calmer, lighter, and more grounded.

You don't need any experience.
You don't need to be flexible.
You don't need to share your story.

Just come as you are.

✨ What to expect:

• Gentle somatic movement to help release tension and stress
• Guided breathwork for relaxation and emotional wellbeing
• A welcoming, supportive group environment
• Time to reconnect with yourself and improve your overall wellbeing
• Practical tools you can use in everyday life

💜 Who is this for?

Anyone aged 18+ who would like to:

✔ Reduce stress and overwhelm
✔ Improve emotional wellbeing
✔ Feel more connected and present
✔ Build resilience
✔ Enjoy some much-needed self-care
✔ Meet others in a supportive community environment

📍 Wolverhampton Swimming & Leisure Centre (Bentley Bridge)
📍 The Local Hub, Bloxwich

⏰ 2-hour sessions

You can attend one session or come regularly throughout the project.

Please bring:
✔ Yoga mat
✔ Blanket and pillow
✔ Water

Everything else will be provided.

Sometimes the most important thing we can do for ourselves is simply stop, breathe, and listen.

If that sounds like something you need right now, we'd love to welcome you.

Please share with anyone who could benefit from a little time to rest, reset, and restore.

🎤 FINDING MY VOICE — WITHOUT LOSING RESPECT FOR OTHERS

Today at Journey to Me, we explored something that sounds simple… but can actually be really difficult:

How do I find my voice, speak up for myself, and still communicate respectfully with the people around me?

Vicky and I set up the room, ready for another session — and then the young people arrived and brought the real magic. ❤️

We talked about expressing what we think and feel, listening to others, understanding different perspectives, and finding ways to communicate more effectively — especially when emotions are involved.

And honestly, one of my favourite things to see is parents and teenagers learning to communicate with each other differently.

Not perfectly.
Not without challenges.
But with more awareness, more listening, and more respect.

Because finding your voice isn't about being the loudest person in the room.

It's about knowing that your voice matters.
And learning that someone else's voice matters too.

We don't film our sessions because we're working with young people, and their privacy and safety come first. So while you might not see the young people themselves in this video, please know that there were some brilliant conversations, honest moments and plenty of learning happening in that room today. 🥰

Journey to Me happens every other week and is a space where young people can explore confidence, emotions, self-expression, communication and so much more — in a way that feels safe, relaxed and completely voluntary.

If you'd like to find out more about joining us, send me a message. 💚

“Oh my God… I’ve just had a meeting, and someone said something to me that made me think… you know what? I need to share this journey with you.”

On the 13th of October, Healing Minds & Hearts CIC will be ONE YEAR OLD. 🥹

And honestly… what a year it has been.

Last October, I was setting up the CIC, opening the bank account, figuring everything out…

Then came the grant applications.

And the rejections.

And more rejections.

And more rejections. 😂

But eventually, I received our first funding from Sport England, and that allowed me to start our somatic exercise and breathwork sessions.

And since then…

94 events.

Yes. Ninety-four.

At Bentley Bridge alone, 534 people booked tickets.

In Bloxwich, another 286 people booked.

And now we’ve got Journey to Me — bringing teenagers and families together, creating a space where children and parents can work on themselves together.

And do you know what makes me the happiest?

I started this CIC because I genuinely believed people weren’t always getting the kind of support they needed.

And I also realised something…

Not everyone wants to sit down and talk about their problems.

Sometimes you don’t need to talk.

Sometimes you just need a safe space, a bit of movement, some breathing, some reflection…

And someone to guide you through it.

And I have seen SO many changes in the people who have come to these sessions.

I get messages afterwards telling me what has changed for them, how they’re feeling, what they’ve realised, what they’re doing differently…

And honestly?

That is why I keep doing this.

What started as an idea has become a community.

And this community is SO much bigger than I ever imagined.

So to every single person who has booked a session, trusted me, shared your experience, brought your child, told a friend, supported the CIC, or simply turned up…

Thank you. ❤️

And we’re only one year in.

So… I want your help.

How should we celebrate the one-year anniversary of Healing Minds & Hearts CIC?

Because apparently, I’m going to have to do something BIG. 😂

Drop your ideas in the comments!

And if you want to join one of our upcoming sessions, send me a message or follow Healing Minds & Hearts CIC on Eventbrite.

Here’s to year TWO. 🥂❤️
