Providing access to information, mobility and communication for people with a sensory need. No patronising, no excuses, no limiting.

We offer a range of services which meet legislative requirements, best practice guidance and personal choice. Our Specialist support workers are DBS enhanced checked and we provide Communicator Guides for Adults with combined sight and hearing loss, Community Communication Support Workers who support Adults who are Deaf BSL users or Sighted Guides who work closely with Adults who have Sight loss.

Our training department offers 1:1 and group courses in Lip-reading to Adults who are hard of hearing or deafened and wish to develop skills in understanding spoken English without sound.

On the 12th of August 2026, there will be an eclipse that is visible to most parts of the UK.

Looking at the Sun directly can severely damage your eyes - even during an eclipse. Never look directly at the Sun without special Eclipse Glasses. Do not use regular sunglasses as these can still lead to permanent eye damage.

Pleased to have attended the UCL conference on Multisensory Impairment this week. Networking with the Seashell trust to commission future Intervenor training and the keynote speech from Marguerite Tibaudo, Education Director of Deafblind School at Perkins School for the Blind, was a highlight.

Happy National BSL Day!
