Thanks to all that supported at the event and from afar(it is appreciated by Me)especially Klaus and Jonathan on site eating the cakes🤣…only joking-great company, fantastic support from these two Brethren, not to mention their Engineering-knowledge.

It was a great day WM, we spoke to between 30-40 people-only one EOI(Expression of interest) but it was great to promote Freemasonry, answer lots of questions & hopefully people leaving with a better view of us…..

Freemasons Family day at…..
A wonderful morning yesterday was had by approx 30 Masons and family on the Pinkerton canal boat trip at Odiham, Hampshire. Three provinces (Berks/Hampshire &IOW and London, saw Engineers lodge 8226, Lodge of Peace and friendship 9275 and two other London lodges joined at 10:30 to depart from the quay and arrived back at 13:45. A profusion of wildlife, water fowl, minks and two otters were spotted along the route. A mass of conversations were had by all on board-refreshments happily supplied by the superb staff onboard(all volunteers supporting the Basingstoke canal Society). https://basingstoke-canal.org.uk/book-a-boat-trip/john-pinkerton/
Our organiser Wbro Jeff Bevins, supported by his wife Sara hosted a charitable raffle onboard during the trip, that raised a massive £615 for S.T.A.R.T (Sexual Trauma Abuse and R**e Therory charity).We then disembarked and had a wonderful meal(and a few drinks) at the waterwych public hose behind the canal, all aim all a lovely day with lovely friends.
