Social Media is often used to highlight worries or concerns and raise awareness, but it is not the best way to get things done. It's often shouty and just shares a point of view with others of the same opinion. It is not enough.

To get small or large changes to the roads in Wokingham and to increase the safety of walkers, riders and scooters - Wokingham Borough Council must be informed and changes requested.

By all means share your concerns, but in the end don't just tell us.... tell the Council.

We know that in the last 2 weeks, requests for the cutting back of overhanging vegetation on pathways and alterations to road markings have been made.

If the council do not know - they will do nothing.
If no-one complains - they will do nothing

Follow the links to make a report. Properly reporting issues/concerns to WBC is the first step in making things better.
