Woking Foodbank

Woking Foodbank Woking Foodbank is a community led project that provides emergency food to local people in crisis.

Despite popular misconception there are many people in the Woking area who are living in poverty. Woking Foodbank is there to help these people or families in need by providing emergency supplies of food to stop hunger. All of those using the service are referred to us by external bodies and charities such as Woking Borough Council and such charities as the York Road Project and YMCA Woking. The service we provide is not a means to an end, but will help those who are in a crisis and cannot afford to eat.

One of the first Harvest Festival collections has arrived at our warehouse. Thank you so much to Holy Trinity Church of England School, West End for inviting us to your very special assembly and for the donations. 250kg of food was weighed in at our warehouse on Friday and ready for distribution. Harvest donations are critical for us in helping to fill our shelves this time of year, when many gaps are starting to appear. 🍁
