Gordonian, and now Director of Drama, Robbie Olden (2011) is taking on his first ever Marathon at the historical 'Double' London Marathon weekend in April 2027. He is looking to fundraise for NSPCC as part of his journey to the finish line. Read more about his story and his reason for choosing NSPCC on the link below.

A little throwback to the Autumn Term! 🍂 As the nights begin to draw in, it’s hard not to remember those crisp late afternoons spent playing rugby and hockey, before heading to the Dining Hall for dinner and a welcome chance to warm up!

We are delighted to announce that the Gordonians will once again be funding both a Sport and a Creative Art award for students currently in Year 11. To be eligible, a student must be able to demonstrate excellence in a sporting or creative arts discipline. The award is worth up to £1,500 payable over three years (Years 11, 12 and 13) in pursuit of excellence in the student’s chosen discipline.

A special visit today from former Head of Drama, Sue Sampson, and husband, Martin. Sue was at Gordon's for 16 years, retiring in 2010 and Martin was a regular helper with productions in that time. She will have navigated many of you through GCSE and A-Level Drama - all from the single classroom behind Medway!

It was fantastic to show them the Wynter Bee Theatre and the space we now have for the shows. Luckily Sue promised to come and see this year's production, so it won't be another 16 years before she comes back to say hello!

Gordonian Adam Mills 12813 (2025) is running the London Marathon in 2027, raising money for Comic Relief. Whilst at School, Adam was part of team 'Angus Army' and ran the South Downs - this time around he is combining his tough training schedule alongside reading Engineering at University of Cambridge.

Adam writes 'I've been lucky enough to have a comfortable upbringing, and it's paved the way for me to succeed in my future. Unfortunately, many people don't have the same privilege, and Comic Relief aims to help level the playing field so everyone can have a fair chance in life.'

An exceptional effort from our Gordon's catering team today, preparing delicious cakes for their Macmillan Coffee Morning, which will be enjoyed by staff, parents and prospective parents and children at today's Open Morning.
