Gordonian Jess Bangle is raising money for CALM, a mental health charity. Next month, she will take on a half Ironman in Swansea, which means completing a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and a 21km run.

Jess says 'Over my time at Gordon’s I was taught the importance of believing in yourself before anything else. So as I committed to this challenge of an Ironman, I embodied the belief that I had the ability to reach this goal so long as I put in the hard work. I’m a grateful that Gordon’s has taught me this!'

Good luck!

This week all students will get an assembly on Gordonians. A small snippet here, but the full assembly includes events, careers, visits, and everything they need to know about our community! This follows a term of delivering PSHE lessons to Year 12. Together with our Careers Department, they have all had a lesson on LinkedIn and Gordonians.

Educating the students from Year 7 upwards is key to having a successful community post Gordon's.

Thanks to all who sent in messages for the 'What would Gordonians say to you?' section!

Nice to see Gordonian, and former Head of Khartoum, Andrew Palmer 8745 (1992) visit us with his wife. Great to show him the changes since he left, especially the sports facilities we have now.

How lovely to have a visit from Tony Madden 7436 (1974) yesterday at School.

Special thanks to Sam in Sandringham (previously called Khartoum) who showed us round his old boarding house. Whilst a very different house inside, with new walls, kitchen, etc. Tony could recall all his memories and the layout he remembers from his years boarding.
