5k Your Way, Move Against Cancer is a a community-based initiative to encourage those living with and beyond cancer, families, friends and those working in cancer services to walk, jog, run, cheer or volunteer at a local 5k Your Way parkrun event

There are 55 cities in England and you may remember Adam who is running a marathon in every one of them in a year for the Move Charity? Today I joined Adam and his friend Phil for part of the Wi******er Marathon which included the climb up St Catherine’s Hill. With only three city marathons remaining Adam is so close to completing his amazing challenge and also has been fundraising and raising awareness for the charity which is part of the 5k Your Way Move Against Cancer charity I am Woking Ambassador to 🦋💙 He is an exceptional young man 👏👏🌟

Join us for 5k Your Way Move Against Cancer this Saturday 30th May at Woking parkrun meeting by the Bandstand in the park 🌟
🔷 We are a free cancer support group for anyone impacted by cancer
🔷 Walk, run, cheer, volunteer and share peer support with the cancer and parkrun community.
🔷 Meet afterwards for refreshments in Woking Leisure Centre cafe ☕️🫖🍪
🙌🏻 Everyone is welcome! Patients, carers, friends and family including children and you can bring a dog on a short hand held lead 🐶
💙 Meet by the bandstand in Woking Park at 8:45am ready for a 9am start 🦋💙
We look forwards to helping you to move against cancer ✨

Today we celebrated 7 years of our group at Woking parkrun by walking, running, volunteering, sharing cake and being supported by the community 🎂💙🦋 Thank you to everyone for a wonderful time and all the encouragement we have receive every last Saturday of the month 👍✨🌟

One week today and we will be celebrating 7 years of our Woking group Moving Against Cancer at Woking parkrun 🎂🦋
We will be walking, running, cheering, volunteering and celebrating with our Woking community. Thank you everyone for all the encouragement and support as we join you on the last Saturday of the month 🌟
Impacted by cancer in any way? Come and meet us at the Bandstand in Woking Park at 8.45am ready for parkrun/parkwalk at 9am. We go for refreshments in the Leisure Centre cafe afterwards ☕️ 🫖 🧁 🍪

Beautiful sunshine with a touch of March winds greeted us in Woking Park today for our end of month get together. The Woking parkrun volunteers and community were all welcoming and supportive as we made our way around the course thanks 😀
Our April get together on Saturday 25th will be our 7 years birthday anniversary celebrations 🎂🦋💙 🥳
